What Nexo keeps, and how to delete it.
A plain-language summary. The full privacy policy will be published here before Nexo opens to everyone.
What is stored
- Your account: your email address and the sign-in tokens for your devices.
- Your chats, with the photos and files you send in them, so you can come back to them.
- Facts you ask Nexo to remember, listed in Settings > Memory.
- Projects, canvases, and your thumbs up or down on replies.
- A record of usage (which model, how many tokens, the cost) so your plan limits work.
What is not
- Temporary chats are not saved, and never use or add to memory.
- Voice recordings are turned into text and not kept.
- Nexo Code works on your computer: your code stays there, and only what a task needs goes to the model. Files like .env and keys are never read.
Who processes your requests
To answer, Nexo sends your request to an AI model provider (such as Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI, depending on the task). Your provider keys stay on Nexo’s servers; the app never talks to a provider directly.
Deleting your data
- Delete one chat, all chats, or any memory from the app.
- Settings > Delete account removes your chats, files, memories, projects, and connected computers, and signs out every device. Usage records stay for billing, without your email.
